Starting out as one man, Brady Gunn, standing on his own in Hyde Park in Sydney, Australia for his own personal truth, A Stand in the Park has become a global phenomenon. Numbers are growing fast with now over 900 parks across 20 countries world wide and 100,000 members.
In the South East of England, there are a collection of ‘Stands’ which take place every Sunday from 10am to 11am. It is an opportunity for freedom seekers to meet like minded people within their local area, to make friends and build support networks during these challenging times. Participants are encouraged to wear yellow to help newcomers find the group.
You can view the ‘Stands’ in your local area by selecting your county:
Kent | Surrey | Sussex | Berkshire
The parks listed have been registered with the official ‘A Stand in the Park’ initiative of which the website is linked to below.
A Stand in the Park is also on Facebook and Telegram.
