Professor Mattias Desmet is an expert in Clinical Psychology at Ghent University in Belgium. Mass formation is a type of collective hypnosis impacting on an individual’s intelligence and cognitive functioning, and is characterised by ritualistic behaviour and aggression towards dissident voices.
