In the wake of the pandemic, Hope Home Education Centre in Sussex has been founded for concerned parents who would prefer to educate their children outside of the mainstream education system. Children won’t just be taught standard core subjects but also alternative matters including survival, yoga and alternative medicines and therapies. Critical thinking will be encouraged above all else.
Huge progress has recently been made to renovate the site with people volunteering their time from all over the country and from all trades including builders, electricians, plumbers and more.
Katy-Jo Murfin of UK Column is one of the founding members and, in the video below, speaks to Michael Chaves about the project. It is hoped that there will be scope for further similar centres to be established across the country.
