Stand Together is a voluntary organisation and we are always looking for people to give us some of their time and energy. Volunteering is vital to the success of Stand Together and we highly value any contribution, however small or big.
What can you do for Stand Together?
One of our objectives is to raise public awareness of the various issues and topics that affect all our lives. This can include Outreach or protests on the street but we understand this activism doesn’t appeal to everyone but activism comes in many forms. Your time at home can be very beneficial to us as well and you can be an activist in the comfort of your home and at your own convenience.
Community
Since 2020 the world has certainly changed as people’s lives were affected by Covid, Lockdown and the vaccine rollout. Due people’s views on these subjects and their rejection of the government and mainstream media narrative, they may have been ostracised by family, friends and work colleagues. A Stand In the Park organisation and worldwide movement let people meet like minded people. The Stand Together organisation facilitated people wanting to get active and inform people there was an alternative way of thinking and beliefs. Stand Together is associated with various groups and are a growing community campaigning and working for a better world, not just for ourselves but for our children and future generations. You don’t have to be an activist to be a member of our community.
Time
We understand your time is precious especially in the modern world. Whatever time you can donate to Stand Together we value and even one hour a week can really help our cause. For example, 40 people donating 1 hour a week volunteering will be much more productive and beneficial than one person donating 40 hours a week.
Benefits
There can be many benefits with volunteering which can include making new friends and connections, building community relations and a sense of fulfilment in a worthy cause…..to name just a few.
Social life
Working together for a cause that ultimately is for the benefit of humanity can build strong, meaningful and close friendships and the social life with activism goes without saying.
